My favorite Chinese food in the state of Oregon. My mother lives in the area and we go out there whenever I am visiting.
Great Mandarin Chow Mein, Mar Far Chicken is large strips of boneless skinless breast served with HOT HOT mustard and a unique (and wonderful) pink sauce. Hot and Sour Soup is delicious. Actually, everything I have tried there is delightful. Probably more Americanized Chinese food but still moderately priced, fresh and very tasty.
Service is always friendly, quick, and unobtrusive. The place's decor is definitely dated, but the food is so worth it. A diamond in the rough. -

FOOD-sweet and sour and the rice were good but everything else tasted...off..
SERVICE- She didn't ever check back on us after getting our food. Gave one refill on drink at the very end. Didn't notice the whole plate of food sitting at the edge of the table until she overheard us talking about it then asked if it was okay. She did allow us to replace the dish with something we liked but it would have been nice to have that to eat there hot and fresh instead of to take home.
ATMOSPHERE- not a lot of parking and there was a bit of food left on table and the seats are a bit tore up but its alright... -

My husband and I moved to Roseburg almost a year ago and Chinese food is our go to food when I'm too "ugh" to make dinner. We've tried several restaurants in the area and have been disappointed by all of them. This place ROCKS! We had what was possibly the best fried shrimp in my life, then some awesome egg fu young (sp? I'm sorry) the fried rice was great and War Won Ton soup was full of dumplings and meat. All in all a great meal. We had such leftovers that I called the next day, got another order of shrimp and enjoyed a full meal the following day. Thank you!!

Today a friend and I went to Asia Garden for lunch. Their Happy Family with pan fried noodles was the best I've had in town. The waitress was really nice and we had a great meal.

This place was great, not a fancy place by any means, but the fare was fresh, hot and delish. The mar far chicken here stands out, the best ive had for sure. Huge pieces. I also like the asia garden noodle soup, loaded with goodies. Our new favorite in the area.
